Beginning Painting
If you have ever wanted to try
your
hand at painting in a
non-threatening
atmosphere, this is the class for you. The introductory class is
designed
for the beginning painter with basic drawing skills.
- individualized instruction - three to six students per class
- emphasis on still life arrangements, but other subjects also
- study color mixing, composition, techniques, form, light
- acrylic medium (cleans up with water but permanent when dry)
The
class requires that you have taken Beginning Drawing or an
equivalent.

Continuing Painting
Held at the same time as beginning
painting, students will be given
more advanced assignments, with extra emphasis on composition and
analyzing and learning from examples of classical and
contemporary painting.

If these times don't work for you, schedule your own class. All we need is a total of three students and an opening in our schedule. Please contact to arrange.
